Read: LADIES CAN WE HAVE A HEART TO HEART TALK FOR A MOMENT? I know you have Someone that you love so much but most times you feel he doesn't love you as much as you love him... You keep wondering why he no longer loves you like when u newly met him.. Why has he completely changed? For example he doesn't call you those pet names anymore or text and call you unlike before, even when u call him.. he is always sounding weak as if he has forgotten that he should have called you. Most time you feel like breaking up with him but your heart don't have the courage to do so... Yes! You love his look, he is damn handsome, tall, loaded with six-packs, fair, thick and financially okay .Infact he has everything you needed in a man but the only thing that keeps bothering you is the fact that : 1. He ignores u Sometimes 2. He doesn't call for days except you do 3. You apologize to him both for your wrongs and his wrongs. And many more. Now listen some men are HUNTERS, every man knows where his heart Belongs to..... The truth is that you are the reason why he has been putting up those attitude and behavior.. You have became the "hunter" you have showed him how weak your heart is... You have loved him beyond measure and brought yourself so low and cheap before him... As a LADY deep down in your heart, you know there is a particular man out there that's ready to wash your feet and treat you like a queen that you are But you choose to neglect, ignore, abuse and insult him all because he don't have money, don't ride the lastes car, doesn't dress well. Am not saying you shouldn't love a man or be with a man you love... But what now happens to you when that person you love with your whole heart which has been the reason why you ignore every other men, just to be with him and still he doesn't show you any care or doesn't have any single love for you? And many at times it's not as if the other person dying to have you isn't good enough for you but because of things like his appearance, he is not tall enough, he is fat, he is not from my tribe, he is not your class, not your taste and so on.. Well done madam high class! You reject a man who truly loves you and adores you no matter how harsh you are to him or how disrespectful you are to him. You keep driving him away and yet he has refuse to give up on you...all because you are busy dying to love or get the attention of a man who only loved you then simply because he's only after that thing inbetween your leg and is now tired of loving you... Why not let go of that man who makes you cry? Why not let the Mr always busy go? He disappears when you need him most and appears and start giving you excuses and unnecessary pleads yet you still hold until him because you sincerely loves him.. Congrats madam loveth! All because he is too cute, he is my dream man you have started doing things you aren't supposed to do as a woman, you now turn the table around... Presently he is now the one begging you to leave him alone... He is now doing everything possible to make you understand that he doesn't love you anymore yet u are blinded by what you see that got you attracted to him ,talking about his complexion, broad chest, height, money and so on...Be wise ma! Is it his body appearance, and all those things you admire about him that will sustain you? You always cry Openly and Secretly because of him yet he doesn't care. Do not a llow yourself to be seen as cheap all the time. You have became something else because you are trying to prove and show your love to someone who doesn't love you anymore.... Once you notice that he has been acting funny without a good reason or explanation.. kindly give him space! You were much alive before you met him then why do you think you can't do without him? You think you can't love someone else the way you loved him? That's a lie all you need is to give that young Man(yes that man you said you don't love) A Chance to love you and make u feel special and watchout if you won't love him back.. Go for someone who will makes you smile, happy and treat you like a queen that you are! Leave those time wasters alone coz you will spend all your valuable moment of your life loving him without him showing any care in return. Your happiness first before any other thing honey.... Love isn't a do or die affair... True love isn't forced... it's flows naturally.. Always have it in mind that your type of person is always someone else prayer point my dear beautiful friend. And I always wish you all the very best of all in your love life.

China to lift lockdown on Wuhan

Read: China has announced it will lift the lockdown on Wuhan, the city at the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic, on April 8, marking a significant milestone in its battle against the deadly outbreak. The date comes more than two months after the city was first sealed off from the outside world, in an unprecedented bid to contain the fast spreading virus. Similar lockdown measures will be lifted Wednesday for other cities in Hubei province, of which Wuhan is the capital, provincial authorities announced Tuesday. The easing of travel restrictions follows a significant reduction in new infections in Hubei, with new cases dropping to zero for five consecutive days from March 19 -- down from thousands of daily new cases at the height of the epidemic in February. On Tuesday, the province reported one new case in Wuhan, a doctor at the Hubei General Hospital. Staff members line up as they prepare to disinfect Wuhan Railway Station on Tuesday, March 24. The province has accounted for the majority of infections and deaths in China, with 67,801 cases and 3,160 fatalities reported as of Monday. In a precursor to the types of measures that would later be introduced throughout the world, Wuhan, a city of some 11 million people, was placed under state-imposed lockdown on January 23, with all flights, trains and buses canceled and highways entrances blocked. Other cities in Hubei province soon followed suit, adopting similar restrictions. The sweeping measures, which have affected more than 60 million Hubei residents, have been heralded in China as having allowed the country to turn a corner in its fight against the outbreak. In a major show of confidence, Chinese President Xi Jinping visited Wuhan on March 10, three months after the outbreak was first detected in the city. But while the restrictions have slowed the spread of the virus, they failed to contain it. In the past week, there has been close to zero new local cases reported in China, with the focus shifting instead to stopping Covid-19 cases from being imported from overseas. Globally, the total caseload has now passed 380,000, with more than 16,500 deaths, according to figures compiled by Johns Hopkins University, which is tracking figures from the World Health Organization and additional sources. Easing restrictions Starting from Wednesday, people in Hubei, except for Wuhan, will be allowed to leave the province if they have a green QR code on their mobile phones, the Hubei provincial government said in a notice on Weibo, China's Twitter-like platform. Hubei has previously ordered all its residents to obtain the color-based QR code -- which comes in red, yellow and green -- and acts as an indicator of people's health status. The colors are assigned according to the provincial epidemic control database: people who have been diagnosed as confirmed, suspected or asymptomatic cases, or people with a fever will receive the red color code; their close contacts will receive the yellow code; and people without any record in the database will get the green code -- meaning they're healthy and safe to travel. On April 8, the easing of restrictions will be extended to Wuhan, where the coronavirus first emerged in December, and residents with a green QR code will be able to leave the city and the province.

Bats are not to blame for coronavirus

Read: Reclusive, nocturnal, numerous -- bats are a possible source of the coronavirus. Yet some scientists concur they are not to blame for the transfer of the disease that's changing daily life -- humans are. Zoologists and disease experts have told CNN that changes to human behavior -- the destruction of natural habitats, coupled with the huge number of fast-moving people now on Earth -- has enabled diseases that were once locked away in nature to cross into people fast. Scientists are still unsure where the virus originated, and will only be able to prove its source if they isolate a live virus in a suspected species -- a hard task. Scientists are still unsure where the virus originated, and will only be able to prove its source if they isolate a live virus in a suspected species -- a hard task. But why does the disease transfer in the first place? That answer seems simpler, says Cunningham, and it involves an alien phrase that we will have to get used to, as it is one that has changed our lives -- "zoonotic spillover" or transfer. "The underlying causes of zoonotic spillover from bats or from other wild species have almost always -- always -- been shown to be human behavior," said Cunningham. "Human activities are causing this." When a bat is stressed -- by being hunted, or having its habitat damaged by deforestation -- its immune system is challenged and finds it harder to cope with pathogens it otherwise took in its stride. "We believe that the impact of stress on bats would be very much as it would be on people," said Cunningham. "It would allow infections to increase and to be excreted -- to be shed. You can think of it like if people are stressed and have the cold sore virus, they will get a cold sore. That is the virus being 'expressed.' This can happen in bats too." In the likely epicenter of the virus -- the so-called wet-markets of Wuhan, China -- where wild animals are held captive together and sold as delicacies or pets, a terrifying mix of viruses and species can occur. "If they are being shipped or held in markets, in close proximity to other animals or humans," said Cunningham, "then there is a chance those viruses are being shed in large numbers." He said the other animals in a market like that are also more vulnerable to infection as they too are stressed. "We are increasing transport of animals -- for medicine, for pets, for food -- at a scale that we have never done before," said Kate Jones, Chair of Ecology and Biodiversity at University College London. "We are also destroying their habitats into landscapes that are more human-dominated. Animals are mixing in weird ways that have never happened before. So in a wet market, you are going to have a load of animals in cages on top of each other." Cunningham and Jones both pointed to one factor that means rare instances of zoonotic spillover can turn into global problems in weeks. "Spillovers from wild animals will have occurred historically, but the person who would have been infected would probably have died or recovered before coming into contact with a large number of other people in a town or in a city," said Cunningham. "These days with motorized transport and planes you can be in a forest in central Africa one day, and in a city like central London the next." Jones agreed. "Any spillover you might have had before is magnified by the fact there is so many of us, and we are so well connected." There are two simple lessons, they say, that humanity can learn, and must learn fast. First, bats are not to blame, and might actually help provide the solution. "It's easy to point the finger at the host species," said Cunningham. "But actually it's the way we interact with them that has led to the pandemic spread of the pathogen." He added that their immune systems are poorly understood and may provide important clues. "Understanding how bats cope with these pathogens can teach us how to deal with them, if they spillover to people." Ultimately diseases like coronavirus could be here to stay, as humanity grows and spreads into places where it's previously had no business. Cunningham and Jones agree this will make changing human behavior an easier fix than developing a vastly expensive vaccine for each new virus. The coronavirus is perhaps humanity's first clear, indisputable sign that environmental damage can kill humans fast too. And it can also happen again, for the same reasons. "There are tens of thousands [of viruses] waiting to be discovered," Cunningham said. "What we really need to do is understand where the critical control points are for zoonotic spillover from wildlife are, and to stop it happening at those places. That will be the most cost-effective way to protect humans." Jones said viruses "are on the rise more because there are so many of us and we are so connected. The chance of more [spillovers into humans] happening is higher because we are degrading these landscapes. Destroying habitats is the cause, so restoring habitats is a solution." The ultimate lesson is that damage to the planet can also damage people more quickly and severely than the generational, gradual shifts of climate change. "It's not OK to transform a forest into agriculture without understanding the impact that has on climate, carbon storage, disease emergence and flood risk," said Jones. "You can't do those things in isolation without thinking about what that does to humans."

Read: Barcelona captain, Lionel Messi, has said that the only way to fight Coronavirus was to follow all the recommendations from the health and public authorities. The Argentine captain also reiterated the thoughts of many and maintained that human life comes first before anything. Messi, in a post on his official Instagram page on Saturday, said: “These are hard days for everyone globally. We are upset about the Coronavirus, and we want to help, putting ourselves in the position of those who are suffering the most, either because they are affected directly or their family or friends, or because they are working on the front line in the fight in hospitals and health centers and I want to send them all my support. Health has to come first. “We have to follow all the recommendations from the health and public authorities. That is the only way that we can fight it effectively. “It’s time to be responsible and stay at home. Furthermore, it is a great chance to spend time with your loved ones, the time you do not always have. “My best to everyone, and let us hope we can turn this situation around, the quicker, the better.” Coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, has become a global problem with Europe now at the centre of the outbreak. Primary sporting activities have now been put on hold in a bid to prevent the spread of the dreaded disease. Meanwhile, the World Health Organisation, WHO, has since declared Coronavirus a global pandemic.

Read: A hospitalized Ohio man recovering from coronavirus is warning others to take social distancing seriously as the virus continues to spread across the country. Kevin Harris, 55, said he is “not out of the woods, but… better every day” as he continues treatment at Mercy Health St. Joseph Warren Hospital in Warren — but that wasn’t always the case. Harris said in a Facebook Live video filmed Friday night that his symptoms began on March 2 with a small cough, which soon led to body aches and a fever. The father of four assumed it was the flu, as he did not have a sore throat or runny nose. “I never had any signs until the night… I started coughing,” he said. “That was the first sign and it went downhill in 24 hours, like gangbusters. I woke up several times thinking I was gonna die.” Harris said he was “one cough from going into cardiac arrest” when a friend came to take him to the hospital, where he was admitted on March 8, WJW reported. He tested positive for coronavirus on March 11, making him the fifth confirmed case in the state of Ohio, according to NBC affiliate WKYC. You can survive the Coronavirus!! (PLEASE SHARE)I HAVE NOT SHARED MY CASHAPP. PLEASE DO NOT SEND MONEY! Speaking from his hospital bed with an oxygen hose in his nose, he emphasized the importance of social distancing, or keeping significant distance from others so as to reduce the risk of breathing in droplets produced by the coughs and sneezes of infected people. “Do not go in the crowds. Do not shake hands. Stop hugging each other,” he said. “Wash your hands continually. Do not kiss on your kids. There are thousands of people carrying this virus around. They may never get it.” He doubled down on his plea in a Skype interview with WKYC, once again urging people to avoid others for the time being. “People need to stay away from other people. They call it social distancing — I say just be anti-social. Just stay away from other people,” Harris said. “This thing is deathly dangerous. Treat everybody like it’s the zombie apocalypse. Don’t trust nothing anybody touches.” In his Facebook video, Harris said he became ill despite not having gone many places for two weeks prior. He believes he contracted the virus while at a check-up at the Cleveland Clinic. Since falling ill, which he likened to “drowning on dry land,” he says he’s certain he has not exposed anyone else to the virus, as he was holed up in his home for two weeks. “I promised certain officials that I would tell people they can get through this,” he said. “Don’t be scared. You can live through this. But you’ve got to start taking care of yourself.” Harris is one of 37 confirmed cases in Ohio, and one of at least 3,602 in the United States, according to The New York Times. Social distancing has been embraced by cities and states across the country, many of which have closed bars, music venues and schools as a means of keeping people from gathering in large crowds.

Ten ways to build self confidence

Read: 1. Visualize yourself as you want to be. “What the mind can conceive and believe it can achieve.” -- Napoleon Hill Visualization is the technique of seeing an image of yourself that you are proud of, in your own mind. When we struggle with low self-confidence, we have a poor perception of ourselves that is often inaccurate. Practice visualizing a fantastic version of yourself, achieving your goals. 2. Affirm yourself. "Affirmations are a powerful tool to deliberately install desired beliefs about yourself." -- Nikki Carnevale We tend to behave in accordance with our own self-image. The trick to making lasting change is to change how you view yourself. Affirmations are positive and uplifting statements that we say to ourselves. These are normally more effective if said out loud so that you can hear yourself say it. We tend to believe whatever we tell ourselves constantly. For example, if you hate your own physical appearance, practice saying something that you appreciate or like about yourself when you next look in the mirror. To get your brain to accept your positive statements more quickly, phrase your affirmations as questions such as, “Why am I so good at making deals?” instead of “I am so good at making deals.” Our brains are biologically wired to seek answers to questions, without analyzing whether the question is valid or not. 3. Do one thing that scares you every day. “If you are insecure, guess what? The rest of the world is too. Do not overestimate the competition and underestimate yourself. You are better than you think.” -- T. Harv Eker The best way to overcome fear is to face it head-on. By doing something that scares you every day and gaining confidence from every experience, you will see your self-confidence soar. So get out of your comfort zone and face your fears! 4. Question your inner critic. “You have been criticizing yourself for years, and it hasn’t worked. Try approving of yourself and see what happens.” -- Louise L. Hay Some of the harshest comments that we get come from ourselves, via the "voice of the inner critic." If you struggle with low self-confidence, there is a possibility that your inner critic has become overactive and inaccurate. Strategies such as cognitive behavioral therapy help you to question your inner critic, and look for evidence to support or deny the things that your inner critic is saying to you. For example, if you think that you are a failure, ask yourself, “What evidence is there to support the thought that I am a failure?” and “What evidence is there that doesn’t support the thought that I am a failure?” Find opportunities to congratulate, compliment and reward yourself, even for the smallest successes. As Mark Twain said, “[A] man cannot be comfortable without his own approval.” 5. Take the 100 days of rejection challenge. “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.” -- Eleanor Roosevelt Jia Jiang has become famous for recording his experience of “busting fear” by purposefully making crazy requests of people in order to be rejected over 100 days. His purpose was to desensitize himself to rejection, after he became more upset than he expected over rejection from a potential investor. Busting fear isn’t easy to do, but if you want to have fun while building up your self-confidence, this is a powerful way to do it. 6. Set yourself up to win. “To establish true self-confidence, we must concentrate on our successes and forget about the failures and the negatives in our lives.” -- Denis Waitley Too many people are discouraged about their abilities because they set themselves goals that are too difficult to achieve. Start by setting yourself small goals that you can win easily. Once you have built a stream of successes that make you feel good about yourself, you can then move on to harder goals. Make sure that you also keep a list of all your achievements, both large and small, to remind yourself of the times that you have done well. Instead of focusing only on “to-do" lists, I like to spend time reflecting on “did-it" lists. Reflecting on the major milestones, projects and goals you’ve achieved is a great way to reinforce confidence in your skills. 7. Help someone else. Helping someone else often enables us to forget about ourselves and to feel grateful for what we have. It also feels good when you are able to make a difference for someone else. Instead of focusing on your own weaknesses, volunteer to mentor, assist or teach another, and you'll see your self-confidence grow automatically in the process. 8. Care for yourself. “Self-care is never a selfish act -- it is simply good stewardship of the only gift I have, the gift I was put on earth to offer to others.” -- Parker Palmer Self-confidence depends on a combination of good physical health, emotional health and social health. It is hard to feel good about yourself if you hate your physique or constantly have low energy. Make time to cultivate great exercise, eating and sleep habits. In addition, dress the way you want to feel. You have heard the saying that “clothes make the man.” Build your self-confidence by making the effort to look after your own needs. 9. Create personal boundaries. “Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one’s definition of your life, but define yourself.”-- Harvey Fierstein Learn to say no. Teach others to respect your personal boundaries. If necessary, take classes on how to be more assertive and learn to ask for what you want. The more control and say that you have over your own life, the greater will be your self-confidence. 10. Shift to an equality mentality. “Wanting to be someone else is a waste of the person you are.” -- Marilyn Monroe People with low self-confidence see others as better or more deserving than themselves. Instead of carrying this perception, see yourself as being equal to everyone. They are no better or more deserving than you. Make a mental shift to an equality mentality and you will automatically see an improvement in your self-confidence.

Corona virus hits Nigeria

Read: Nigeria's economic hub Lagos confirmed a case of new coronavirus on Friday, stirring memories of the fears sparked six years ago when West Africa's Ebola epidemic hit the chaotic megacity of 20 million. The health minister said the first confirmed case of the virus in sub-Saharan Africa was an Italian citizen who had returned from Milan earlier this week. "The patient is clinically stable, with no serious symptoms," Ehanire said, adding that the patient was being treated at a hospital for infectious diseases in Lagos. The low number of cases so far across Africa, which has close economic ties with China, the epicentre of the deadly outbreak, has puzzled health specialists. Prior to the case in Nigeria, there had been just two cases on the continent -- in Egypt and Algeria. - Vulnerable country - Nigeria, Africa's most populous country with some 190 million people, is viewed as one of the world's most vulnerable to the spread of the virus given its fragile health system and high population density. In 2014, the first case of Ebola confirmed in the city from the outbreak that swept West Africa set off alarm bells across the globe and unleashed a wave of panic among residents. In the end Lagos escaped relatively lightly and only seven people died from a total of 19 infected, a number dwarfed by the overall toll of 11,000 deaths across the region from 2013 to 2016. The World Health Organization (WHO) hailed the containment of Ebola in Lagos as a major success given the potential for a rapid spread in the city's closely packed and poorly sanitised neighbourhoods. The Lagos state health authorities reacted quickly, medical experts from international organisations in the country deployed from the capital Abuja and the disease was confined to the upscale neighbourhoods in the city. This time around officials insist that the country has made its preparations for a potential coronavirus outbreak. "I can tell you that in Nigeria we have a costed plans as part of preparedness for this epidemic," deputy health minister Olorumibe Mamora said earlier this month. Mamora said quarantine centres had been established in Lagos and Abuja and were being set up in the southern oil hub of Port Harcourt and the biggest northern city of Kano. "We would do everything we need to do if the situation arises in respect of the safety of our citizens," the official said. Nigeria's Centre for Disease Control says that three laboratories in the country have the capacity to diagnose the virus and that health officials have been meeting daily to share intelligence. - 'Lessons from Ebola' - The director general of the West African Health Organisation Stanley Okolo has insisted the region had "learnt from the lessons of Ebola". He said members of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) bloc agreed recently to come up with a "regional cost plan" and estimated that up to $50 million was required. "The devastation of an epidemic affects everybody," he said. Situated in a tropical regional not far from the equator, Nigeria has had to face the threat of multiple contagious diseases. An outbreak of Lassa fever, which is spread mainly through rat faeces and urine, has killed over 100 people across the country since the start of the year. Experts say the oil-rich economic powerhouse is better prepared to deal with any disease epidemics than some of its poorer neighbours in the region. But the government is criticised for not spending enough on health and crumbling infrastructure, corruption and the departure of doctors to better paying jobs abroad have eaten away at the sector.

Read: The Lagos State Rapid Response Squad (RRS) on Wednesday warned pupils against living the street lifestyle called ”The Marlian”. Marlians” are die hard supporters of music star, Naira Marley, real name Afeez Fashola. The Commander, Deputy Commissioner of Police, DCP Olatunji Disu spoke at the “Security Day” Celebration organised by some law enforcement agencies in Lagos on Wednesday. He said Marlian lifestyle is not what a responsible student should copy. “The Marlians also change their natural hairs to dreadlocks, smoke illicit substances and live very rough lifestyles and other abnormal attitudes”, NAN quoted Disu as saying. Disu also advised the pupils not to join ‘Eiye’ and other illegal confraternities and secret cults no matter what they were offering prospective members. If you join any secret and illegal cult, you are not sure of coming out alive. Moreover, it will affect the entire family system of its members. “The cultists also depend heavily on the use of illicit drugs to drive them high. This has contributed to the high rate of crime in the country,” he said. Disu also advised the pupils not to get carried away by social media distractions. He further urged them to be security wise “and remember your parents need you to take care of them at their old ages”.

3 reasons why Messi is better that Ronal

Read: The Messi vs Ronaldo debate continues unabated, but here are three reasons why the Argentine is the better player... Perhaps the most widely discussed topic in the world is the debate over who the greatest player of all time is. For many in this generation, though, the debate has been narrowed down to two players: Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. These two players have dominated football for the better part of the last decade and are, without doubt, far ahead of the other competitors. Messi and Ronaldo have singlehandedly salvaged points, recued draws and moved their respective teams from losing positions on many occasions. It is, therefore, no surprise that both players continue to dominate the headlines despite approaching the twilight of their respective careers. They are so good that the gulf in quality between them and the chasing pack is so wide. However, no matter how close their greatness and achievements are, one is certain to be better than the other. In this case, Messi stands tall with everything pointing to the fact that the Argentine is better than his eternal rival. Below are three solid reasons why Messi is a better player than Ronaldo: One of the main things that separates Lionel Messi from Cristiano Ronaldo, and any other player for that matter, is the fact that there is more to his game than just goals. The Argentine comes with a complete package and his all-round play makes him a special player. The main reason why many compare him to Ronaldo is because the Portuguese continues to score lots of goals each season. But take out Ronaldo’s goals, and you would realise that his impact in games becomes very minimal. Messi, on the other hand, is not just about goals – he scores, controls games, drops deep to dictate play and assists his team-mates to score as well. It doesn’t come any better than this. The Barcelona star simply influences games like no other. This season, Messi has played 37 matches in all competitions and has been involved in a staggering 60 goals. He has scored 39 goals and assisted a further 21 times. Surely, it’s clear for all to see that the Argentine is more than just a goal scorer – unlike Ronaldo – and his diversity, coupled with his impact on games, makes him better than the Portuguese.

Read: THE RICH GET RICHER AND THE POOR GET POORER. We live in a society were exploitation is the order of the day. Corruption is the greatest enemy to mankind,According Niccolo Markiavali he said"people who seeks for power will look for more power to protect that power" I.e power are mainly in the hand of the minority which are the rich individuals so in order to protect that power they look for several means to protect it,including exploiting the majority which are the poor, the rich save up money that is suppose to be for everyone in other to protect certain positions. With such situation in our society how do we expect the poor to become better,is not possible because what the poor has is only their labour power and after several years of suffering they even end up more miserable and things becomes more difficult, The poor is just like a man fetching water in to the river. According to Karl Marx capitalist system of government is a system were the rich called the bourgeoise are the ones allowed to rule and direct the affairs of the society because they are rich while the poor called the proletariat are just there to obey certain rules and regulations and they don't have any power to reject anything because some times their life is trait,The poor are hungry in the means of plenty. Conclusion. Conflict is what is needed in the society so that they can be change because most time the poor seems to be contented with what they have, when the poor stand up to fight for their right they will definitely be a revolution which will enhance change and development in the society. How to approach a Lady properly

Read: Open menu Main navigation Footer Company Home Valentine, on-call Alphonce Omondi Breadcrumb LOVE & RELATIONSHIPS MEETING SOMEONE Too shy to ask her on a date? By Valentine Njoroge June 28, 06:00 am There is this girl I really like, but I'm too shy to approach her. I really don't know how to ask her for a date. Please help me out. Oh wow! We've all been there… Clever, smart, and funny with all the wrong people. And then we get in front of the person we like and our brain flees the building, leaving us stammering, sweating, and idiotic with the one person we really want to impress. If I had a confirmed cure for this I would be a billionaire… I do have some suggestions though: The first thing is to remember that she is really just a girl. Yes, you like her, but she is simply a girl. So stay calm. Then try flirting with other women. I don't mean that you ask other people out or lead them on in anyway, but try smiling and complimenting women around you. Tell a waitress that you like her perfume and joke with the lady you get your groceries from. These positive interactions with women will boost your confidence and put you more at ease with the ladies. Instead of asking your crush out on a full-on date, how about simply saying hello and starting a conversation? Most people will agree that this is half the battle as once you are talking you will find out what she likes, the kind of stuff she enjoys doing etc. Once you are talking, perhaps you can invite her to hang out with your friends at some group activity? Perhaps a concert? Group activities will ease the tension and make it easier for you to be yourself, instead of sitting across from her in a coffee shop trying to make interesting conversation for an hour or two. Once you get to know her a little more through group activities, then you can ask her out on a one-on-one date and take it from there. Just remember that the more relaxed you are, the more you will shine and the higher your chances of success.

How to know he's cheating

Read: You may be wondering if your boyfriend is being faithful to you. Maybe he is treating you differently, spending less time with you, being super secretive, or not putting effort into the relationship anymore. However, it is best to examine his behavior, ask him questions, and look for evidence before you accuse him of cheating. Determine if he is overly protective of his phone. If your boyfriend is cheating, he will become overly protective of his phone and computer. Does he get upset if you touch his phone or computer?[1] His phone is probably what he uses to communicate with the other person he is seeing, and he wants to keep you as far away from his stuff as possible. If you ask "Who was that calling/texting you?" he may say, “nobody,” or “don’t worry about it.” Does he delete text message threads or Facebook messages before he lets you use his phone? Does he run to answer the phone before you can see who is calling? Pay attention to his normal routine. If your boyfriend is cheating, he has to make time for this other person in his schedule and change his routine.[2] You probably know his usual schedule. If he starts hanging out with his guy friends more, studying late, or working late nights, he may be cheating.[3] Your boyfriend will begin to choose all of these activities over spending time with you. You will no longer be a priority. Notice if he becomes more secretive. Does your boyfriend close the door when you are around? Does he take his phone calls in another room? If your partner is cheating, he will begin to distance himself from you.[5] Look for secrecy in any area of his life.[6] Has he started hanging out with people that you don’t know? If you ask him about where he is going or how his day was, does he only give a short answer with no details? Notice if he becomes more secretive. If you ask him about where he is going or how his day was, does he only give a short answer with no details? Look for any behavior that is out of the ordinary. Your boyfriend may begin to change his behavior because he feels guilty about cheating. These behaviors can be positive or negative. Typical changes include:[9] Buying gifts for no reason. Going out of his way to be helpful and caring. Picking fights with you. Being more moody. Smelling differently (e.g. another person’s perfume or cologne) Paying extra attention to his appearance (e.g. clothing, new haircut, going to the gym) Lying about things that are both big and small.[10] Saying different phrases that he usually would not. Keep in mind that cheating is not the only explanation for unusual behavior.

In a throwback video of the Starboy that we obtained on social media today, we watched him speak on the high regard of not talking to much, and we can tell that is the reason he avoids unnecessary drama on social media. He said: “Behave yourself, don’t talk too much. If they don’t ask you any question, keep quiet. Only speak when you have something sensible to say. Then people will listen to you”

13 Reasons why men cheat

Uploaded By MrTrendstriber

2020-02-23 16:02:11

Category: News

Location: West Africa Nigeria

Contact.No: trendstribe.com

Read: The truth is that all sorts of dynamics can play into a man’s decision to engage in infidelity. Generally, though, his choice to cheat is driven by one or more of the following factors: Immaturity: If he does not have a lot of experience in committed relationships, or if he doesn’t fully understand that his actions will inevitably have consequences like hurting his partner, he may think it is fine to have sexual adventures. He might think of his commitment to monogamy as a jacket that he can put on or take off as he pleases, depending on the circumstances. Co-occurring Issues: He may have an ongoing problem with alcohol and, or, drugs that affect his decision-making, resulting in regrettable sexual decisions. Or maybe he has a problem like sexual addiction, meaning he compulsively engages in sexual fantasies and behaviors as a way to numb out and avoid life. Insecurity: He may feel as if he is too old (or too young), not handsome enough, not rich enough, not smart enough, etc. (An astonishing amount of male cheating is linked, at least in part, to a mid-life crisis.) To bolster his flagging ego, he seeks validation from women other than his mate, using this sextracurricular spark of interest to feel wanted, desired, and worthy. It’s Over, Version 1: He may want to end his current relationship. However, instead of just telling his partner that he’s unhappy and wants to break things off, he cheats and then forces her to do the dirty work. It’s Over, Version 2: He may want to end his current relationship, but not until he’s got another one lined up. So he sets the stage for his next relationship while still in the first one. Lack of Male Social Support: He may have undervalued his need for supportive friendships with other men, expecting his social and emotional needs to be met entirely by his significant other. And when she inevitably fails in that duty, he seeks fulfillment elsewhere. Confusion About Limerence versus Commitment: He might misunderstand the difference between romantic intensity and long-term love, mistaking the neurochemical rush of early romance, technically referred to as limerence, for love, and failing to understand that in healthy, long-term relationships limerence is replaced over time with less intense, but ultimately more meaningful forms of connection. Childhood Abuse: He may be reenacting or latently responding to unresolved childhood trauma—neglect, emotional abuse, physical abuse, sexual abuse, etc. In such cases, his childhood wounds have created attachment and intimacy issues that leave him unable or unwilling to fully commit to one person. He might also be using the excitement and distraction of sexual infidelity as a way to self-soothe the pain of these old, unhealed wounds. Selfishness: It’s possible that his primary consideration is for himself and himself alone. He can therefore lie and keep secrets without remorse or regret, as long as it gets him what he wants. It’s possible he never intended to be monogamous. Rather than seeing his vow of monogamy as a sacrifice made to and for his relationship, he views it as something to be avoided and worked around. Terminal Uniqueness: He may feel like he is different and deserves something special that other men might not. The usual rules just don’t apply to him, so he is free to reward himself outside his primary relationship whenever he wants. Unfettered Impulse: He may never have even thought about cheating until an opportunity suddenly presented itself. Then, without even thinking about what infidelity might do to his relationship, he went for it. Unrealistic Expectations: He may feel that his partner should meet his every whim and desire, sexual and otherwise, 24/7, regardless of how she feels at any particular moment. He fails to understand that she has a life of her own, with thoughts and feelings and needs that don’t always involve him. When his expectations are not met, he seeks external fulfillment. Anger, Revenge: He may cheat to get revenge. He is angry with his mate and wants to hurt her. In such cases, the infidelity is meant to be seen and known. The man does not bother to lie or keep secrets about his cheating, because he wants his partner to know about it. For most men, no single factor drives the decision to cheat. And sometimes a man’s reasons for infidelity evolve as his life circumstances change. Regardless of his true reasons for cheating, he didn’t have to do it. There are always other options: couple’s therapy, golf, being open and honest with a mate and working to improve the relationship, or separation or divorce. A man always has choices that don’t involve degrading and potentially ruining his integrity and the life he and his significant other have created. Still, knowing why he cheated can be helpful in terms of not repeating the behavior in the future.

What happens to your Heart if u eat bean

Read: Consider adding beans, lentils, and peas to your holiday meal this year. According to a review published in November 2019 in Advances in Nutrition, consuming legumes reduces the risk of all forms of cardiovascular disease and lowers blood pressure. To zero in on the power of legumes and pulses (the edible seeds of plants in the legume family), investigators reviewed 73 prospective cohort studies with one year or longer of follow-up that examined the relationship between eating legumes and the incidence of death due to cardiometabolic diseases, diabetes, hypertension, and obesity. Researchers divided the groups into quartiles from highest to lowest consumption of legumes or pulses. The pooled analysis revealed that compared with the people who ate the smallest amount of legumes, people who ate the most legumes and pulses experienced the following benefits: eight per cent decrease in cardiovascular disease; 10 per cent decrease in coronary heart disease, nine per cent decrease in hypertension and 13 per cent decrease in obesity. John Sievenpiper, MD, PhD, an associate professor in the department of nutrition studies at the University of Toronto and a co-author of the study said people derive two kinds of benefits when they incorporate more legumes into their diet. First, there’s the intrinsic value of the beans themselves; the protein, fibre, and micronutrients could all positively contribute to heart health. According to him, “some pulses contain 7S globulins protein, which has been shown in experimental work to reduce cholesterol.” A study published in 2015 in the Journal of Nutritional Science showed that this protein promoted cholesterol-reducing effects in rats. According to him, eating more legumes also has an extrinsic benefit, adding “Often when people are eating more legumes, its displacing red meat, processed meat, and other sources of cholesterol. That can improve heart health as well. Tamanna Singh, MD, a clinical cardiologist at the Cleveland Clinic main campus in Ohio, who was not involved in this research said although these findings aren’t unexpected, this review does a good job of looking at existing research to begin to quantify the health impact of legumes. He added: “Because legumes contain complex carbohydrates, plant-powered protein, and not much fat, it makes sense that consuming more of them would be associated with some reduction in cardiovascular disease, diabetes, or some of those risk factors that are associated with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease.” Legumes, which are part of the DASH diet and the Mediterranean diet, include soybeans, alfalfa, fresh peas, and green beans. Common pulses are things like lentils, beans, and black-eyed peas. Meanwhile, Sievenpiper said that people do not need to eat large quantities of legumes to improve their heart health. According to him, “The [U.S. Department of Health & Human Services] considers a half cup of legumes a serving, which would be about 100 grammes. Anywhere from a half serving to a full serving per day is where we see the best signal for the associated benefits.”

Read: Since the Chinese city of Wuhan went into lockdown three weeks ago, university student Victor Vincent has watched as other international students on his campus have returned home. Last week, he says it was the turn of a group of pupils from Myanmar who lived in the apartment above. "They knocked on my door to say goodbye," the 26-year-old Nigerian student at the China University of Geosciences told CNN. "And give me their fresh vegetables, because they wouldn't be needing them." Not so for Vincent. He is one of around 50 Nigerian students living in Wuhan -- the epicenter of the global coronavirus outbreak -- who say they've been abandoned by their country, their repeated pleas for evacuation and medical supplies largely ignored by government officials. The students say they, along with over a dozen other Nigerian teachers and businesspeople living in Hubei province, have repeatedly written and called Nigerian government officials requesting assistance. But they say very little has been forthcoming in return. With the virus death toll now topping 1,000, several countries -- including the United States, the UK and Japan -- are working to evacuate their citizens from Wuhan. Nigeria is yet to take such a step. Vincent, who is an executive of the Nigerian Students in Wuhan Association, said the group had asked the government for evacuation and medical supplies, such as masks, goggles, gloves and disinfectant. There was a glimmer of hope last Thursday when Vincent, who is also the student association's financial secretary, received a grant of 20,000 Chinese yuan ($2,870) from the Nigerian ambassador to China. The money was provided to "assist us in procuring foodstuffs and medical supplies," Vincent said. But he added: "Other than that, the situation remains the same. We still have no clear indication on when we are getting evacuation, where we will be quarantined or even if that will happen at all." "As each day passes, the chances of evacuation slip by," said the student who has been studying in Wuhan since September 2018. "It's the total lack of support and sense of abandonment by your country." CNN reached out to the Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and to the Nigerian embassy in Beijing, but has not received a response. Meanwhile, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, chairperson of the official Nigerians in Diaspora Commission told CNN: "This will be handled by the Minister of Foreign Affairs. He has to give further instructions in this regard. This is strictly a country-to-country matter. He has to take the decision." The students also heard from the Nigerian Embassy in a letter dated January 31. That letter, seen by CNN, gives the students medical advice, warning them to remain indoors and wear surgical masks. However, it does not directly address requests for evacuation or medical supplies. Vincent said the official response was "unprofessional, in light of the circumstances." Memories of Ebola linger The group of Nigerians includes students from various universities across Wuhan, including the Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Central China Normal University. They have also taken on the cause of several other Nigerian teachers and businesspeople living in Hubei province. "They're all part of the larger Nigerian community here," said Vincent. One of these, a Nigerian businessman living in Wuhan, Deji Idowu, questioned whether the Ebola outbreak that struck parts of Africa in recent years has made his country particularly cautious about evacuations. "Ebola has made people really afraid," said Idowu, a former president of the Nigerian Students in Wuhan Association which Vincent is also a member of. "People still have vivid memories of it, which makes them panicky," added the Huazhong University of Science and Technology graduate, who has lived in the Chinese city for over a decade. Idowu says he has been in lockdown in his central Wuhan apartment with his two young children since the start of the coronavirus outbreak, only leaving to get groceries from the local supermarket. Nonetheless, he remains "optimistic the Nigerian government will help us." Morale at rock bottom Meanwhile Vincent said many students were now "on edge" after being confined to their apartments for three weeks. He added that each university campus has its own supermarket, and the only time he had left his room was to get food before quickly returning home. "We've been advised to wear masks whenever we go outside," he said. But some of Vincent's fellow Nigerians had run out of masks, and Vincent added that they were one of the "basic supplies" they had asked the embassy to provide. "I don't understand why other countries can take care of their citizens, but not us." "In the first week of the outbreak you accept that you're not going to be evacuated," said Vincent. But as more and more countries launched rescue operations, he began to question "why am I not getting any support?" With no end to the lockdown in sight, that question will only become more desperate.

Read: Apple’s plans to unveil a new iPad Pro model in the first half of 2020 could be delayed as a result of the coronavirus outbreak, according to Bloomberg. The company’s plans to launch a low-cost iPhone model in March don’t appear to be affected, the report said. Apple warned investors Monday that it would miss revenue expectations for the second quarter due to factory and store closures within China. Shares in Apple fell more than 3% Tuesday morning after the company’s announcement. Visit Business Insider’s homepage for more stories. Apple’s business is taking a larger hit from the coronavirus outbreak than it originally expected, with the company announcing Monday that it would miss its revenue expectations for the second quarter. In disappointing news for consumers, the company’s goal of launching a new iPad Pro early this year could also be delayed, according to a report from Bloomberg. Apple had planned to roll out updated models of its iPad Pro tablet in the first half of 2020, complete with 3-D cameras, as well as a low-cost iPhone (reportedly to be priced around $400), which could be released in March. While the iPhone launch appears to be on track, the iPad Pro plans could be pushed back due to the virus, according to Bloomberg. Apple’s supply chain, which is largely concentrated in China, has been significantly impacted as factories in the country have been forced to close. The company said in its press release Monday that “worldwide iPhone supply will be temporarily constrained” as a result. Apple has also had to close stores across the country in an effort to help contain the virus, which the company said has contributed to decreased demand for Apple products within China. Apple did not immediately respond to Business Insider’s request for comment for this story.

Osama bin Laden, the founder and first leader of the Islamist terrorist group, Al-Qaeda, was killed in Pakistan on May 2, 2011. On may 1, 2011 at 20.00 hr. The United States Navy SEALs also known asDEVGRU or SEAL Team Six.Code-named Operation Neptune Spear, was carried out in a CIA-led operation with Joint Special Operations Command, commonly known as JSOC, coordinate a Special Mission Units involved in the raid. The operation ended a nearly 10-year search for bin Laden, following his role in the September 11 attacks on the United States. The raid on bin Laden's compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan was launched from Afghanistan. U.S. military officials said that after the raid U.S. forces took the body of bin Laden to Afghanistan for identification, then buried it at sea within 24 hours of his death in accordance with Islamic tradition. Former seal member Robert James O’Neill is one of dozens of U.S. special operators to storm bin Laden’s hideout on May 2, 2011, said he mentally prepared himself to face death from heavily armed gunmen or from the elaborate booby traps that would surely line the approaches to the al-Qaeda leader’s inner sanctum. What he never expected was that he would secure a place in history that night, as the man who fired the bullet that ended bin Laden’s life. O’Neill confirmed to The Washington Post that he was the unnamed SEAL who was first to tumble through the doorway of bin Laden’s bedroom that night, taking aim at the terrorist leader as he stood in darkness behind his youngest wife. In an account later confirmed by two other SEALs, the Montana native described firing the round that hit bin Laden squarely in the forehead, killing him instantly. More than three years after the events, O’Neill agreed to publicly discuss his role for the first time, describing in unprecedented detail the mission to capture or kill the man behind the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on New York and Washington. O’Neill’s involvement in the 2011 bin Laden raid capped a career that had already been extraordinary, by any measure. Tall and athletic with boyish features and reddish-blond hair, O’Neill became a SEAL in 1996 at age 20, and was eventually promoted to elite SEAL Team Six. He eventually received 24 honors and commendations, many of them earned for multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, as the leader of missions to capture or kill suspected al-Qaeda-allied insurgents. Between tours, his team was pressed into service for rescue missions in far-flung corners of the world. O’Neill was among the SEALs who assisted in the 2009 rescue of merchant marine Capt. Richard Phillips from pirates off the coast of Somalia, an operation depicted in the 2013 movie “Captain Phillips.”
